Presentation Guidelines – Full Papers

All accepted full papers at AutoML 2026 will be presented both as an oral presentation and as a poster. At least one author of each accepted paper is expected to attend the conference in person and present the work.

Each paper is allocated a 10-minute presentation slot, consisting of:

• 8 minutes for the presentation
• 2 minutes for questions and answers

To ensure that sessions remain on schedule, session chairs will strictly enforce the time limit.

• Presentations are limited to a maximum of 9 slides, including the title and closing slides.
• We recommend focusing on the main motivation, contribution, and key results rather than trying to cover the entire paper.
• Please arrive at the presentation room at least 10 minutes before the start of your session starts.
• To ensure smooth transitions between presentations and keep all sessions on schedule, we will collect presentation slides in advance. Please upload your final slides to the designated Google Drive folder by Wednesday, September 23.

Each full paper will also be assigned to one of the conference poster sessions.

• Posters must be in A0 portrait format (841 × 1189 mm).
• Authors are responsible for printing and bringing their own poster to the conference. Options for printing the poster on-site are available on the website, under the Attending tab.
• At least one author should be present at the poster during the assigned poster session to discuss the work with attendees.
• We recommend designing the poster to be understandable without requiring readers to have attended the oral presentation.

Poster boards and materials for attaching posters will be provided at the venue.

The exact oral and poster session assigned to each paper will be indicated in the conference program. Authors should check the program before the conference for their assigned presentation times.

If the designated presenter changes, no notification is necessary as long as another author of the paper presents the work.

Authors are also warmly encouraged to record a short video (maximum 3 minutes) introducing their paper. This is entirely voluntary, but can be a great way to give the AutoML community a quick overview of your work and increase its visibility beyond the conference presentation.

If you choose to prepare a video:

• Upload it to YouTube using your personal account.
• Please title the video “[AutoML 2026] <Paper Title>”, replacing <Paper Title> with the title of your paper.
• Keep the video to a maximum length of 3 minutes.
• Once uploaded, please send us the YouTube link at pc-chairs-2026@automl.cc.

We will be happy to link the video directly from your paper’s page on the AutoML 2026 website, making it easily accessible to conference participants and the broader community.
