All accepted non-archival contributions (Late-Breaking Abstracts and Hot-off-the-Press papers) at AutoML 2026 will have the opportunity to present their work through a short lightning talk and a poster presentation.
At least one author of each accepted contribution is expected to attend the conference in person and present the work.
Lightning Talk
Each contribution is allocated a 3-minute presentation slot. We recommend preparing 1–2 slides and using approximately 2 minutes to present the work, leaving 1 minute for questions.
The purpose of the lightning talk is to briefly introduce your work, highlight its main message, and encourage attendees to visit your poster for further discussion.
To ensure that sessions remain on schedule, session chairs will strictly enforce the time limit.
Slides
- Please arrive at the presentation room at least 10 minutes before the start of your session.
- To ensure smooth transitions between presentations and keep the sessions on schedule, we will collect all presentation slides in advance.
- Please upload your final slides to the designated Google Drive folder by Wednesday, September 23.
Poster Presentation
Each contribution will also be assigned to one of the conference poster sessions.
- Posters must be in A0 portrait format (841 × 1189 mm).
- Authors are responsible for printing and bringing their own poster to the conference. Information about options for printing posters on-site is available on the conference website under the Attending tab.
- At least one author should be present at the poster during the assigned poster session to discuss the work with attendees.
- We recommend designing the poster so that it can be understood independently, without requiring attendees to have seen the lightning talk.
Poster boards and materials for attaching posters will be provided at the venue.
Presentation Schedule
The exact lightning talk and poster session assigned to each contribution will be indicated in the conference program. Authors should check the program before the conference for their assigned presentation times.
If the designated presenter changes, there is no need to notify the organizers, provided that another author of the contribution presents the work.
We look forward to seeing your work presented at AutoML 2026 in Ljubljana!
